The three BSU student-athletes selected to the first team defense are senior defensive end Alex Hoffman, senior defensive back Michael Junker and junior linebacker Gabe Ames. Frye led the NSIC with 148.6 rushing yards per game, totaling 1,337 yards in nine games played. He ran for over 200 yards in two games, including a 316-yard performance in the season finale at Minot State University. Frye's 10 rushing touchdowns ranked third in the conference on 5.2 yards per carry.
